Fearless Foundry’s Top 5 Favorite Queer-Owned Brands

Shop these brands and celebrate the queer community!

Happy LGBTQ+ Pride Month! To start the month off strong, we wanted to share 5 of Fearless Foundry’s favorite queer-owned brands—choose businesses that align with your values and support the LGBTQ+ community this month.

1. NiK Kacy Footwear

NiK Kacy Footwear was created by NiK Kacy, the Creator and Executive Producer of Equality Fashion Week, the first LGBTQ+ focused Fashion Week in LA. After failing to find masculine-styled shoes made to fit smaller feet, NiK Kacy decided to create their own line of gender-free shoes in a range of gender-equal sizes.

Their mission is to “utilize fashion as activism in a way that inspires change so that gender is no longer a force that limits or restricts, and EQUALITY becomes the vernacular that ALL individuals speak”.

2. Coopers Optique

Zac Cooper founded Coopers Optique to express his love of personal aesthetics. Coopers Optique, located in Seattle, is the Pacific Northwest's destination for unique eyewear curated from top designers around the world. The shop is a place for authentic self expression—choose from new, vintage, and custom brands.

Coopers Optique is a GSBA Equality Is Good Business and is nglcc Certified LGBTBE.

4. Gc2b

Founded in 2015, gc2b is a trans-owned company based in Maryland. gc2b's founder, CEO, and designer, Marli Washington, saw that the only binding options were uncomfortable and inadequate compression shirts designed for cis men. After studying industrial design, he used his experience in product design and  background in textiles to innovate and create accessible, comfortable, and safer binding options for trans people. gc2b binders were the first garments designed and patented specifically for gender-affirming chest binding.
